NYC Wellness Club is a groundbreaking private club concept from the world's leading wellness brand, embracing an "urban-retreat" that resolves the tension between escape and the sybaritic pull of city life. Rooted in the brand's original mission—merging sustainability with wellness since 1995—the 45,000-square-foot club houses a full-service spa, modern bathhouse, vibroacoustic meditation dome, biohacking lab, integrative wellness clinic, fitness center, yoga studio, social and co-working spaces, a café, private restaurant, juice and alchemy bars, and a 5,000-square-foot rooftop garden terrace. The interior traces Manhattan's transformation from prehistoric meadows to modern metropolis. A two-story iridescent plaster carapace, inspired by oyster shells, evokes the island's lost 350-square-mile oyster reefs, while an adjacent fluted concrete façade nods to the neoclassical era built on that oyster trade. The restaurant is wrapped in floor-to-ceiling architectural terracotta, recalling a Manhattan grain silo. Urban materials—concrete, asphalt, steel—are balanced against stone, plaster, and raw wood, with colors drawn from the city's pigeons, raccoons, and squirrels. The result is a bio-minimalist aesthetic of "holistic hedonism," designed to support both work-life balance and ecological responsibility in equal measure.
